Hi,
Unfortunately, Java and javascript are not the same thing. While it is possible to put javascript into flash, I dont think its possible to do so with Java, correct me if I am wrong.
Kind regards,

Dear friends,
Its true that Java and JavaScript are two different things.
Here are some facts about Flash -
1. Flash has its own scripting that is Actionscript. (Currently Actionscript 3.0)
2. We can use JavaScript functionality from flash, if we are running Flash file in browser. (that is .swf file embedded in HTML)
3. We can make flash-java intraction using XML and can also call java methods using Flash Remoting.
We can not embbed Java Applet in macromedia Flash application. Flash application is becoming much more powerful now a days with Flash Version 8 that, It is reaching near to power of java applet.
Flash player is becoming platform independant, as major of a web browser supports flash player.
As now a days open souce development is also on high. There is a Gnash player ( a GNU/Flash player) is on high stage of development.
any q n a wecome
