    Exclamation Netbeans

does anyone know how to install Netbeans? I have downloaded the Netbeans 5.0 platform and the Netbeans 5 windows. Nowhere is there an executable file or an msi file that I can use to start the installation. The netbeans site itsself is no help because they offer no advise on how to install nor do the have a forum for their product. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just looking at the Netbeans website now. Both windows IDE 5.0 and the IDE/JDK bundle have .exe extensions, so should just work fine. What are the extensions on the files you have?

    Kind regards,

Ok I found the whol kit and kebang and have installed it and created a test applet, but I can't get it to run! the error says that it is missing main function. I just followed the directions to create the japplet class, besides, I thought applets didn't hav a main() function?
    Thanks, Paul
