Netscape7 V IE6 Rendering
I've written a couple of sites using Namo WebEditor and I'm consistently perplexed by the slight differences in rendering when using Netscape7 and IE6 - even of simple pages.
I think there must be some fundamental aspect that I'm missing.
Here's an example of a simple index page:
http://www.monteviste.co.uk
Have a look at it in NS and IE and you'll see that there are slight differences in the positioning of the various elements. True to say they aren't that great, however, on other pages they certainly are. My server stats show that 90% of visitors are using IE6 but still, it would be good to write sites that display correctly in both browsers. It's not as though it's simply a case of including a browser redirection script because even simply battling at the HTML level I can't seem to force NS to give me what I'm after.
Help!
