Connecting to SQL Express asp.net 1.1
Where is there an article about connecting to sql express in asp.net 1.1. I am able to do it on the dev machine but I either do not have the connection string set correctly or directoy access setup correctly.
I need to know directory access permissions, connection string settings. basicaly everything.
The web application is located in C:\inetpub\Testing\wv-app\
The database base is located in D:\Database\Testing\<<DBName>>.mdf
They are located on the same box for testing
But will be on different box for production.

By default, SQL Server Express does not accept connections from remote machines. See if this helps: http://blogs.msdn.com/sqlexpress/arc...05/415084.aspx
