how to create autoexec.bat ?

Hi all,
I am new at JAVA programming. I am getting this error.
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
I have heard this error can be rectified by autoexec.bat file.
Can PLEASE anyone tell me how to create it ?

I hv installed JAVA in the following path
C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_06\bin
