    why to use "if(false){java comands}" in jsp ?

    i read that "if(false){java comands}" is a java trick .
    how does it work ? and when i should use it ?

    its no trick.

    Code:
    if (a>b) //true
    {
        //do stuff
    }
    else //result above returned false
    {
        //do this instead
    }

    no trick

    "java commands" mean write your own java commands.

    You should try and avoid scriplets in JSP anyway.

    hi there, but the problem is not " if (a>b) //true" or " else ". the question is about "if (false)...." when the false is a word , not any condition.
