Hi guys, Im trying to make a simple servlet bt having lots of problems. I have finally compiled my servlet java code, but i have no clue in how to go about viewing it. I am using tomcat 4.1. created the following directory structure webapps\webdir\WEB-INF\classes. MY java files are in classes, after compiling my java file a class was made, but now I dont know what else to do or how to view the servlet. Am I missing anything else? Please can some one help me.

yes, you need a web.xml that points to your servlet.
just have a look at the example web.xml files provided by tomcat for the demo-servlets.
