Question Help With Caterpillar Game!!! Please!

I am creating a game similar to the classic snake game but there is an enemy that follows the snake around as it moves around the board. its ultimate goal is to kill the snake so it cannot get any more life supply....i am having troubles figuring out how to attack this problem so any hints or starting points would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks

that's a little bit to general for me. could you be more specific? what do you already have, at what point do you face to problems?

Since the snake grows all the time, it would be easier for the attacker to kil the snake as time goes by, so heres what I propose:

    1. The attacker must hit the snake on the head to kill it, or
    2. The attacker can chop off part of the snake, which causes a deduction in points. The amount chopped off will be proportional to the amount of points deducted

Hope this is of some benefit to you.

    Kind regards,
    Noel
