BIRT Reporting Tool

Hi all,

Right now in my company we are using StyleSheet reportting tool for report generation in our web based product.We actually want to change them to BIRT reports(Bussiness Intelligence Reporting Tool).But Iam unable to get the required information.
1)Is there any way to convert the stylesheet reports to BIRT Reports
2)How to interact the XMl generated from BIRT reports with java class which consists of actual data to be populated on BIRT report.
3)Let me know if any sort of tutorial provides all the above information.
