Retrieving Catalog information using Z39.50 protocol

Hi All,

We are trying to build a Web application that will retrieve catalog information from various Libraries/Universities. These catalogs use Z39.50 protocol and we would like to know what package (API) is available to connect & retrieve information. We came across a toolkit JZKit but it looks like it is a separate application by itself and would need changes to customize it to our application. If anyone who has/had experience working with Z39.50 and had used any 3rd party APIs, please let us know. It would be really helpful.

Even I am searching for the same sort of 3rd party componet (API's) to connect and retrive the information. if you found any solution to the same can you please provide me the same. It would be really helpful. Thanks in Advance.
