Maybe too general
I have been planning to build a website that includes sign-in features, a searchable database, a shopping cart, etc. But as I have mainly done graphic web design I am at an impasse as how to get started! How do I decide what to learn? PHP/MySQL? RubyonRails? ASP.net? something I haven't found? or is it better for a back-end beginner like me to just start with a software package that does all that work for me so I can focus on the spruce-up graphically after? Any ideas? Thanks in advance! -K.
