    Doubts In Using Forms

    hi , i am a new newbie programmer and currently i have no idea of how to close the first form without closing the 2nd form
    example:
    i create form1 with button leading to form2
    i do it form2.show()
    but i want form1 to dissappear and form2 to stay
    however whenever i try closing form1 , form2 will automatically close
    can anyone help me with this?
    Thank =D
