help required to develop a universal database

I developed a application using Vb6 and access my client had three branches in different continent, now they required to maintain a universal database ie changes made in one branch is reflected in all at same, Please suggest me what i should do.Hosting company not provide database with ip access.Plz help asap

I may not be 100% clear on your statement, but...

You only have to host a single database on the web. If the clients have a web-based interface, then that application simply needs to use a single DSN.

To identify the data for each branch, add a table in the database for branches, and insert their branch ID along with each record.

If your issue is beyond this solution or this is not clear, please post more questions or more details.

But i once try to host my database in mysql and tried to access it thru my program in vb6. but unfortunately,i cannot connect to database becoz hosting company does not give permission to do so.

secondly plz make me clear what is web-based interace, how can i create the dsn to access the web database

That is true, ISPs will not typically give you remote access to their servers. A web-based interface is a web page UI for your application. The majority of the code will remain the same, you just use a web page instead of a VB UI.

Host the web application on the same ISP as the database.
