Form inputbox problem
VB.NET 2003, windows form, using an inputbox to get some user information. All works fine if the user responds in under 5 seconds or so, if not the blue section of the very top of the form (with the form name) becomes lighter in color), the icon disappears and all the menus disappear. The inputbox still will accepts data and processing will proceed but the effect is disturbing to users. Tried putting the inputbox within a thread but that didn’t solve the problem. It’s as if the form was timing out. Would a separate form / dialogbox work better? Or any other solutions? Thanks
