this can not be happening
so after all the hassle I've been having with my course (see my posts in the C++ forum)
I'm working my way through the final question for my assignment.
I've been working on it for about 4 or 5 hours this afternoon.
Its not finished but it was decent enough that I'd be content to hand it in.
I had 2 instances of my compiler open (borland builder)
and I'd been saving it as I went along.
And I went out to go pick something up.
I came back home half an hour later to find my folks had turned off the mains. while my projects were sitting open.
And I know this shouldn't affect anything because it was saving it along the way but it has. Maybe because I had 2 instances running at the same time. All my event handlers aren't working, its trying to create new ones rather than use the existing ones, etc etc etc.
This is due in TONIGHT.
its now coming up for 9pm I've been up since about 5am and I'm up again tomorrow at 7am.
And they're hammering an effing wall down outside my room.
I kid you not.
And I've got a trapped nerve or something in my hand thats keeps causing it to tremor quite badly which is driving me mad.
I don't know what to do.
I was so close and now everything has been ruined. Again.
I need to get 75% on this assignment and the next and on the exam if I have to have any hope at all of passing.
This question is worth 35% and I know for a fact I haven't got 100% on the other 2.

I'm sorry you are having such a terrible time of it. I hope you are able to save your grade.

so...... I have to ask..... You said it was 'due tonight'. Did you get it done, err... redone? Hopefully you pulled it together!
They say things are easier the second time
