datagridview copy paste

Hi i have a datagridview control and i cant seem to do a copy or a paste using keyboard. I always have to do a right click on mouse to copy or paste.
why? is there any code that needs to capture ctrl + c.
i put a code in datagridview keyup but it cant capture ctrl and C at the same time?? please help...

when i create this in a new solution new form, the problem is not there. But i need this in a mdi parent child form and this is where the problem rises. please help...
