Danish characters fetched from database are displayed as ?????
OS : Linux
Database : Interbase 6
JRE : 1.3.1_15
I have a sample application which fetches values from database and display it. I checked in database it shows correct values. But when I fetch it and display, it is displayed as ?????? (characters are not recognized). Value in Database is "ÅåæøØáÁíóÍÓÚ"
Same thing is working fine with JRE 1.3.0_02. After upgrading JRE to 1.3.1_15 this problem has started. Its due to different encoding in both JRE.
Is this related to font.properties file?
