I am looking for an entry level job as a java programmer at the moment.

I left my previous job as a research chemist to do a one year diploma course in computerscience, because this is a career change and because I have only one year diploma (as opposed to a four year degree) I am finding it difficult to get interviews. When I do get an interview I find that I have not encountered some of the technical questions on core java before.

If you think my input would be of help my address is hughroarty@yahoo.co.uk

I can tell you what I think from a jobseekers perspective but I am not expert enough to talk about technical detail.
