    short question

    quick lay question;

    if i open an mp3 file with a simple windows editor, how is the language called i see?

    As far as I know an MP3 does not have an underlying language. What you are looking at is probably compressed binary code.

    As Lori said, the information you would see would not be a 'language', but rather binary code that is in a specific format. You can find information on that format here: http://www.wotsit.org/search.asp?page=5&s=music
