ActiveX problem using VB
i'm desperate to find a solution... so i ask for your help and give u a reward (1 month Rapidshare account).
this is my problem:
My problem is about this file:
www.ormax.co.il/FtpConnection2.rar
(download it please, if u wish to help me solve this)
the file made with visual basic 6
and now:
open the file...if u can open it without any error that means that u have VB6 installed on your pc.. so u cant help me(or maybe u can...)
i need someone that can solve this error message when i open this file:

this error message means that u have not installed all the ActiveX files that come with VB6.
i have VB6 on my computer.. and this file works...
at my other computer.. i dont have vb6 and this file shows the error message - this file will only work if i install vb6 on my other computer, and i dont want to do that.
if u could help me solve this problem, that i wont be needed to install all the VB6 files, and just install the ActiveX files (i dont know where can i get this package), i will give u immediately the RapidShare account
things that i did: i tried to search all the vb6 run-time scripts and install them.. but none of them fix this problem..
all i need is one file that installs all the ActiveX files that located in the VB6..(or something like that)
take this file that i posted here...open it.. if u get a problem.. good..now u can help me find something to solve it ...
ps: this file uses winsock and stuff like that..
Any solution that works is good

I would start by looking at the components that are referenced by your project (open your project's .vbp file in a text editor). Make sure that all of them are installed and registered on the target computer. You might also try creating an installer with VB's Package and Deployment Wizard or Visual Studio Installer; it should automatically include the necessary components.

I am not sure if this is what you are looking for but you can download,
from Microsoft, the 6.0 run time files. The executable is called
VBRun60sp5.exe. If you run that executable on your pc that doesn't
have vb loaded that may solve your problem. You could search Microsoft
Website for 6.0 run time files.

well... first of all I will NEVER run an exe that I downloaded from the internet, unless I know the source
nothing personal, I am just careful.
second, it looks to me that what you need is an installation package, that you can build using the "Package and Deployment Wizard" (that comes free with VB, it is an add-in and you have to enable it via the Add-In Manager dialog) or some other third party component.
"There are two ways to write error-free programs. Only the third one works."
