New to Java need help ASAP
Hi my name is Mina .. and I just joined cause I am taking a course at school for java programming and I have really no idea what I am doing.
I was hoping there was someone here could help me out with my first assignment. I will place it here so if anyone can help they will at least know what I am in need of. hopefully this will be easy for someone to do and show me how to get started. This is to hard of an assignment for someone who has never programmed before.
The assignment I need help with need to be a swing applet that has 2 Jbuttons
and two text fields for entering hours worked and the hourly rate which is $7.50
I guess one button is supposed to calculate the gross pay hours x $7.5
and the other button calculates the fed tax with holdings
there is a chart for the tax
$0-99.99= 10%
$100.00-299.99= 15%
$300.00=599.99= 21%
$600.00 and up=28%

have you at least attempted to do this assignment? i could do this for you, but i can tell you from experience, that the best way to learn how to program is to write the programs yourself. we can give you hints and help you with problems that arise in your code, but not many will write the entire program for you. so give it your best shot and if you have any questions feel free to ask
