Timer?????

I have a timer code that i am trying to call to another program. the code for the timer is attached. The timer works when you run it by itself but when i call it in my other program, a box for the timer pops up but it freezes and then causes the whole program to freeze. What am I doing wrong??? The code that i'm using to call the program is also attatched. I've been doing this using JCreator.
