    calculate powers in java

    hi does anyone knows the syntax for calculating powers in java
    for example

    2
    2 = 4

    look at the pow function of the .java.lang.Math class - it is a static function, so you call it by

    Math.pow( a, b ) where a and b are doubles and it returns a double.
