    Session Timeout problem

    Hi all,

How can I set the session TimeOut from inside the Code? Also is there a way to make the session variables Expires after a number of minutes of inactivity. i.e. I want to make the session variables expires after the user stays inactive for 20 minutes. I am using ASP.net 2.

    Thanks in advance

There are a couple of different ways to do this. First, programmatically you can change the value of Session.Timeout. You can also specify a static value using the Timeout entry in the Web.config file.

In any event, the default session timeout duration is 20 minutes.
