    Arrow Help me choose the next IDE

    Hey all;

    I need a small help to choose the next IDE for java .. I left java developing for a very long time and I should return back ... I had Jbuilder but I want to change it to a best one ... I have downloaded today the netbeans but it seems not very familiar [is it free ??] , and I have searched in it on how simply make a small interface "drag and drop" without any results ...
    I heared about the good visual cafe and I saw pictures of it too but unfortunatly I coulden't find any link to download / order it .. I have searched symantec website and googled too without any useful results ... can anybody tell me how can I get it ? or what's your suggestion about the best IDE ? I don't want to make big projects .. just simple debuging mode that what I need with an easy interface maker ... I don't like generate all the interface by coding it !!
    Also I want to know what about the Oracle Java mode ? -not the whole studio just java and maybe database with it- .
    please tell me what's your suggestions ?

    Thank you !

    I strongly suggest that you keep up your work on NetBeans, and its Matisse GUI builder. There are tutorials available through the NetBeans project web site at www.netbeans.org, especially the trail which starts here ... http://www.netbeans.org/kb/trails/matisse.html

    I can't tell you anything about cafe, other than I think it's a great name.
