    The .NET SDK including the commandline compilers for C#, VB.NET and MC++ is
    available for Win98. You need a good text editor or IDE to use it. You may
    try this one http://www.icsharpcode.net/OpenSource/SD/default.asp

    The VS.NET IDE (Visual Studio.NET) on the other hand is only available for
    Win NT/2000/XP.
