    self starting applications...

How can i make my exe auto-startable(at a particular time ). One way is to
have service which launches the exe at the required time. Is there any other
way to achieve the same instead of using a service for it.

    Ok.That's good idea...
But is there any way to configure the "Windows Scheduler" (programatically)
to invoke my application at the specified time. My exact requirement is,
I have a configuration file which has the scheduling information of my application.
Whatever time specified in the configuration file, at that time my application
    should automatically start running.
    hope you understood my problem...
    looking forward from u..........

    Hi there,

You should look at MSDN library for Task Scheduler APIs - they are well
    documented.(http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de.../library/en-us
    /taskschd/ts_portal_690l.asp)
