Thank you very much. But the link displays the way to create resource (.res) files, and I need to learn the way to package icons in a .dll file.
    How should I?

You need to create a resource-only DLL: http://www.thevbzone.com/l_res.htm

This is an icon packager I downloaded 10 years ago. You put Icon.com in a folder along will all the icons you want to put in the dll and run it from the Run: menu. I have had up to 500 icons in a dll but It might depend on the size of the icon, I've only tried 16x16. There are simple instructions with it, have fun.

I've been programming with VB for 15 years. Started with VB4 16bit Pro, VB5 Pro, VB6 Pro/Enterprise and now VB3 Pro. But I'm no expert, I'm still learning.

Okey, the coolest way to package icons to .DLL is:

    1) Create a resource file (.res) with icons, pictures and/or .wav files.
    2) Create a new project with 'ActiveX DLL'.
    3) Add the resource file in the project.
    4) From the File menu, create .dll file using 'Make <project name>.DLL' option.

    That's all.
    Is not that very simple?
Thank you all for your precious time in showing the right way for all this.
