Greetings:

I need to made an Ajax call to a web service which returns an image (Jpeg) as response. How am I gonna do it then? I am also thinking that if not possible to handle this directly, I want to make the Ajax call to a Java servlet which in turn calls the web service to get the image. But again, it seems that I am facing the same problem in the end. In my understanding, the Ajax response should be an XML format file for javascript to process. The image just not gonna fit. Any suggestions, please advise. I am new to Ajax and work to learn from all of you.
