i have a problem in networking my chatroom server and chatroom client...

just a simple client server transaction in sending messages to each other.

what i know about creating a chatroom is that the server has an infinite loop that waits for any clients thread and receives his message and also with the client chatroom, the client waits in line for his message to be passed to the server...

my problem is i don't know where to put my thread declaration and when and where will I put my code that transmits and receives messages from the client or the server...

can anyone help me?...
