How to embed an application into a swing java app

Hi All,

I use MPlayer under my linux box to play movies and I would like to make a Java frontend for it. So I would like to embed the MPlayer into my java application.
Is it possible? I am also interested in embedding an XTerm window into a swing frame.

Any help would be appreciated!

If the application's GUI is contained within a Container, it can be embedded into your Swing JFrame.

BTW: Could you, please, be a little more specific? I don't think I really understood what you meant. Could you give me some examples, please.
