    Welcome to DevX

Short of the Federal Govenment or a global corporation, I don't know of any one place that has something like this. Moreover, I'm sure those two built their own over the course of some years.

    Yes, please do.

I've seen questions similiar to this one before, but if the OP found anything, then never posted back so I don't even have any place to start you off.

if u can find it somewhere on any website, you may view its HTML source, it should be there, like when registring in a famous website and it asks for country, then a combobox appear with states in this country ...

when registring at windows live mail, there isn't a continet but they r 7 only, easy i mean... but it asks in first combobox about the country, once you choose a country a list of states in this country pop in another combobox
if you look at the HTML source, you will find some java-scripting that contains some arrays holding all this, same with gmail or any google service .

Well, yeah....I figured it had to be something like this. I've done the same thing with states in the US to populate dropdowns.

The problem is that you have to know what all those countries are. It would be easy to build one for yourself, it would just be time consuming and that is what I believe the OP was trying to avoid (but, I don't see any way around it.)

ps. i do this only because in the my project, outside America states doesn't matter, and i'm not an American too ...

The only thing I have is an array of states, so that probably isn't worth anything to anyone.
