    Google or internet search from VB Form.

    Hi,

    What i am looking to do is to search say Google or another internet search engine from a text box that will have on my form. So that the text i enter in my text box, will then search whichever engine and display the results as normal. The form will also have a 'Go' or 'Search' button to submit the search.

    Is this possible?

    Thanks.

    Thanks for that, but what i idealy want is to just when having entered my search criteria into a search box on the form, to be able to click 'Go' and have it launch Internet Explorer and run the Google search.

    But, Phil's link has an example of how to do exactly what you are asking for?

    I'm not sure what could be missing for you.

    If you want to display the search results in the user's browser, simply pass the desired URL to ShellExecute:

    URL = "http://www.google.com/search?q=" & SearchTerm
