Re: Match pattern?
You need to escape the "+" sign that you're matching:
> sPattern = "^(?<sign>\\+|-)?(?<value>\\d+)$";
I'd write it like this to make it easier to read:
> sPattern = @"^(?<sign>\+|-)?(?<value>\d+)$";

Match pattern?
I use the following statement to do a search:
// optional "+" or "-" (0-1 times), followed by at least one digit
// 1st group named "sing", and 2nd group named "value"
sPattern = "^(?<sign>+|-)?(?<value>\\d+)$";
Match Regex.Match(sMyText.Trim(), sPattern); // exception error raised!
The following is the error message:
System.ArgumentException: parsing "^(?<sign>+|-)?(?<value>\d+)$" -
Quantifier {x,y} following nothing.
Is my search pattern wrong?
