Question Problem with custom msgbox ...

WinXP/VB6Pro. I'm trying to make a custom msgbox to substitute for the standard VB msgbox so I can control font size, screen location, etc., but have run into a problem.

I've created a dedicated form for myMsgbox to do the job. It seems to work properly when called as the result of a command button, or when I just want to pass info to the user. I simply load it as a form, fill in all of the text data, then display it modally to the user. In one use, the user clicks an up/dn control and I want to display a msg that states he has reached the minimum or maximum value possible. When the code calls for myMsgbox to present the user with this data the program crashes and seems to go into a loop, but there is no loop at that point in my code. The code simply says call the modal msgbox form, then when user clicks 'okay' (on the msg form) exit the 'click' procedure. It only seems to be a problem when using the up/dn arrow control (click event). A regular VB msgbox works fine in the same spot.

Can anyone tell me what might be the problem? I could just remove the up/dn control in favor of another, but I'd like to understand what is happening.

    Any help appreciated.

Thanks, Hack, I already removed the instances where I used my custom msgbox behind the up/dn arrow, but I would still like to understand why it occurred. Let me see if I can find a saved copy of the old code.

Well, if you can't find the old code, it shouldn't be a problem for you to recreate it, right?
