how to create a web site like youtube

    Hi all ,
I'm trying to develop a web site like youtube , allow user to upload any type of video n convert it to FLV format.
I need a backend engine, I had trial Movavi Engine n TotalMovieConverterX which i search from internet but all aren't working.
    Any other good suggestion ?
    thank you.

    Best regards,
    Syl

Well, I am not going to go through the whole thing with you, but you are going to need a script like alstrasoft, vidiscript, clip-share, and will need knowledge of how to install ffmpeg and mplayer and mencoder correctly to convert the videos. Here is a site I use for video hosting and I know it uses ffmpeg to encode the videos. http://mivid.net

a friend tell me this tool can help you creat a web like youtube.

    some information:
Flash Video MX SDK V2 is to help server applications to convert the uploaded videos from virtually any format to Flash video (FLV), Flash (SWF), and AAC/H.264 MP4! With it you can build a video host website like that of YouTube, Google video, Yahoo! Video, etc.

if need you can google it.

Did you bother to read that post. The guy says he is going to tell you how to create a site like youtube step by step but all he did is point out some tools to do it with.
