2.0 ver..
We are using office 97. Only the old style dbf2.0 versions will load
into excell. We have to export the files now to get them into a format we
can use. I was wondering if excell 2000 can handle the new style dbf, or
if there is a fix for this problem.

You can use ODBC to import the VFP data into Excel.

As far as I know from my experience, there is no difference in 'loading' dbf2.0/dbf5/dbf6
FP tables into Excel 97/2000 versions.
I use commands like copy to .. xls or copy to ...xl8. Also I use Excel Automation
and can not see any significant differences.
