Excel VBA - Attach A File To An Excel Spreadsheet
I see what I can insert an object, and that object can be something like a Word document or WordPad document or the like. This would actually insert the contents into my spreadsheet (at least that is the way I'm reading it.)
However, is there a way to "attach" a file in the same way we can attach a file to an EMail message?

I think I might have it.
When you insert object, pick the tab 'create from file', browse to the file you want, then click the checkbox labeled 'Display as ICON' before clicking ok.
Now, all I need to do is perform this while running a macro, and I should have the code I need.
