Could you define it please?
Normal way to read files from an HTTP server site is by using an URL pointing to the file.

So practically, what do you get when you scrape an applet site?
Does the OP want what the applet is showing in its window? I think the only way to get that would be PrntScrn.

I guess the OP wants a program and not info on how to write a program.
