Moving an ASP application
I am moving an asp application from a win 2000 server to a win 2003 server. I am getting the following error message:
Server object error 'ASP 0177 : 800401f3'
Server.CreateObject Failed
I tried to look this error up, but I am only find errors that are associated with emailing in an ASP page. This Create Object error is happening on a line that is trying to connect to a database. The database is already on a win 2003 server. Has anyone run accross this error, and can give me any direction?
Thanks in advance
Thanks Clarence

Moving website
I am not exactly sure, all that was done was move the website from 1 server win 2000 to a win 2003 server. It was a create object error associated with a database.
Thanks Clarence

It is an age old axiom in programming that "You can not fix what you can not define."
Something on Win2000 is configured to permit the connection that is not configured on Win2003 - that would be where I would start. How do the configurations differ especially with respect to databases?
