VB6/Crystal Reports 10 Executable -CR Code Absent

I have a client with existing VB6/CR (Developer) 10 system which needs some small changes to VB and report layouts. The original developer created the system with her own copies of VB6 and CR but has disappeared. I have a copy of VB6 with its original CR4.5 within.

The .vbp is laid out so all I need - I think, is to "update" the CR side which probably means the purchase of a developer edition of CR, which has now moved on past v10.

So, if I get the client to buy CR (latest) whichever that is, developer edition and load it up, load up VB6 and execute the system's .vbp (or copy), should I then be able to load everything up, modify the reports, forms, bas etc and rebuild into a new executable?

    This is the .vbp

Further question - you've got this far.

Is there any particular order in the body of this file with respect to form, basic and report design objects?

    TIA

Yes, but, I would see if I could get a copy of CR10 rather than the latest.

There could have been changes in newer releases that might cause other errors making you not that much better off than you are now.

Thanks, I'll look around for a copy of CR10 - developer version, in Australia.

I'm sure they would have no problem shipping it to whereever you wanted it shipped.
