I think a listview should be just fine.

    What is a "stock manager"?

    hi,
"stock manager" is a software to add a list of products to store information of that product in the db for see how many products we have in stock/warehouse
for example each product have a ean
so i put one ean and the program add that product to the list in the image there is a example of what i want to do.

i looking too for a way to print a sheet designed at runtime for the user can change the positions of the text and images how can i do that in .net?

other alternative that i considering is use the crystal report to draw the sheets but in this solution the user canīt change nothing there is other alternative to print a custum list?
in .net we have a control that is printform but this print only the controls that i have in the form, i looking for a way to add values and images programatly
to preview and print that list

    thanks for your help

Printing is completely different in VB.Net to VB6. The nearest thing you have to the printer object is the PrintDocument class.

Another alternative that I employ quite a bit is to dump what needs to be printed to Excel and simply display the worksheet on the screen and let the user use Excel to do the printing.

well i looking for a independent and elegant solution using the excel as a external tool is not a good alternative the user must have the office and a correct version installed on pc may be crystal report does what i want without the "change on runtime" but thats ok

If you are staying with .NET you are left with the PrintDocument class as referenced above.

If that is not something you want to mess around with then you would have to go with a third party reporting package like Crystal Reports or something along those lines.
