jasper and ireport

hi there
can anyone help: i created an sql to produce the report well the classic report can be created but when it comes to chart report,when compiling my report,it complains about the required data type, after changing to the required data type,the wrong found data type still exists while the required one changes to the type needed.so i dont know how to change the founded type to the to required one
