Unrecognized database format
I can,t open my MS Access database, when I try to open give me this error "Unrecognized database format" have somebody any idea for this problem? Thanks

What version of Access was the database created in?

Your database is corrupt. There are only a handful of options for you to fix it. First of all, does it let you open the database at all, or does it give you the message immediately when you open it? My guess would be immediately. If that's the case, make a backup copy of the database, and then make a desktop shortcut with the following target: "[Office Path]\MSAccess.exe" "[Backup copy of Database]" /compact . Compact is really your only elegant tool for recovery. If that doesn't work, and your database is important, then you need to get one of those database recovery tools like AccessFIX. Otherwise, I would revert to the most recent backup of the database that works and go from there. Good luck.
