Web based reporting tools for SQL 7.0
I need to design a Intranet application that will give my user's access to
either preview a report or export the report to excel. I thought Crystal
Reports would be the solution but I found out there's a rather expensive
license agreement per year for concurrent users on the site. Do any one
have any answers?

Check out wwww.cizer.com or write to jilika@cizer.com
Cizer can take Crystal and Export to Excel, Run Excel Reports and run reports
ad-hoc/scheduled/w/advanced parameterization/optimized.
Here are a couple more of Cizer's features...
* Asynchronous report generation (up to 44 simultaneous processes per server)
* 6 report source types (Crystal Reports, Excel Spreadsheets, Access Reports,
Word Perfect forms/macros and SQL queries plus OLAP cubes)
* Multiple output formats, including PDF, XLS, RPT, HTML, WPD, DOC and CSV
* Built in security that allows easy integration with your existing application
or database (ODBC to any data source)
* Scheduling, electronic bursting, and email delivery
* Cascading, hierarchical, interactive HTML user prompts
* 100% HTML viewer for OLAP
* Advanced features such as SQL optimization and optional parameters with
Excel, Access and Crystal Reports
* No client access license (CAL) and a pure HTML interface on Internet Explorer
or Netscape
