    Client Connectivity through ODBC issues

I recently moved PC's and was trying to re-establish some of my ODBC connections.
Everything was going fine until I came to the Oracle one. I am trying to
establish a connection to an Oracle Enterprise 8i server through an ODBC
connection and I keep getting 2 errors.

    1) The setup routines for the ORACLE in DEFAULT ODBC driver could not be
loaded due to system error code 126.

    <click ok>

    2) Could not load the setup or translator Library.

This kicks me back to the adding odbc connections. Does anyone have any
Ideas on how to resolve this?

    I have
    1) Reinstalled MDAC
    2) Copied all the DLLS for Oracle to the system32 directory
    3) Removed all traces of Oracle from C:\orant and the registery and reinstalled.

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

If I right understand you can't do the ODBC connection using Oracle ODBC
driver? If that is right try download latest version of driver or probably
(I do this once) reinstall ODBC from distributive separately. When you will
established installation you will obtain some errors like ****.dll can't
install something like this - open directory with this DLL in ORAHOME
and rename. Finish the installation for all DLLS. I think everything should
    be worked. Good luck..
