bluetooth broadcasting

i was wondering if anybody would be able to point me in the direction of any sites that could help me with a project im currently working on

the crux of it is to be able to send out an animated gif automatically via bluetooth from a pc to any suitable device than comes in range

ive had a look around bluecove.org, have a copy of bluetooth for java and have installed the java micro sdk installed and have looked over the bluetooth.demo file but think im still a bit under prepared (mainly to do with the coding)

any sites or tutorials you know of would be helpful

or even pointers as to whether im going about this in the correct fashion
