    SQL Database Backup

I am running SQL server 7 on a machine that was hit by a virus and forced
me to reinstall the OS. Before reinstalling the OS I backed up all the data
onto another computer. Now that the OS has been reinstalled I also reinstalled
SQL server. I'm not sure how(if possible) to restore the original database
onto this computer from the backup copy. Suggestions? Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

Could you tell me the way you have done back up before reinstalling OS and
    Sqlsever.
The restore process can be done on, what you have performed backup I mean,

1.If U have used DETACH command,U can use ATTACH command to restore database.

2.If U have taken all scripts out for each and every database and taken data
as bcpout in textfiles,U can rerun all scripts and bcpin data.

3.If U have done backup using BACKUP command you can use RESTORE command
to restore it onto newly installed computer

    Madhu.
