hi freinds,

i have got one problem while i am not able to connect to the server[[oracle8i
(oracle 8.1.5 : enterprice edition)] win-2000 machine ] through client [node
-win95/98] i have got while i am tring to use neteasy config in the client.the
client is not able to connect to the server oracle ,i got the following
error.

ora-12545 connect failed because target host or object doesn't exist

but the tnsnames.ora file contains all the information about host,ip address
and service name etc,everything is correct,listener services are also up.client
is pinging to the server,in the server net easyconfig and all the functions
are working perfectly.i am able to create tables,triggers everything through
sqlplus.

pls if anybody knows pls let me know.
