Smile Excel 2007 - rotateing list

    Hello everyone.
I am working on a rotateing senority list for a over time issue. I can't seem to be able to get A1 to drop down to A10.
I would like for A10 thru A2 to populate up a cell and A1 to drop to A10 in rotation. Could some one help on this. I am not that good with VB.
if this is the wrong place for this could a mod please post in the correct location or delete? thank you

    Welcome to DevX

Your question is in the correct section.

Under what conditions would the name in A1 drop down to A10?
Under what conditions would the name in A10 be dropped altogether?
When would these conditions be checked? (Each time you opened the spreadsheet? Only when a button was clicked? Someother time?)

You need to write out, in pseudo code, exactly what you want this app to do; when it should do it and how it should do it.

click button to start cycle rotation
name in A1 moves to A10
all cells move up one cell
then ends untill button is clicked again

    Smile Overtime List Simple Solution

    Hi

I am sure there is a really convoluted way of doing this, but here is a simple solution.

This Assume that your names are in a spread-sheet range B3-B12. Put the following code in/under your command button.

    Code:
    Range("B3").cut
            Range("B13").Select
                     ActiveSheet.Paste

    Range("B4:B13").cut

            Range("B3").Select
                    ActiveSheet.Paste
